Updated: May 2, 2021

The Oak Spring Garden Foundation is now accepting applications to their 2022 Botanical Artist in Residence (BAiR) Program. Applications can be submitted anytime, now through July 15, 2021. The final deadline for submission is Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11:59 PM EDT.

ASBA members have participated in past years. The BAiR program includes a two - four week stay at the Oak Spring Garden site in beautiful, Upperville, Virginia, including a private room and bath, shared living room and kitchen, and studio accommodations. Residents receive a $1,000 grant and an offer to purchase one finished piece for $1,000 for the Oak Spring Florilegium. Artists can work independently on their art, explore the rural 700-acre landscape and gardens, and make appointments to visit the Oak Spring Library.

Applicants for the 2022 Oak Spring Garden Foundation Eliza Moore Fellow will be selected by a jury of established artists and arts administrators.
